The Stadium Glow-Up Is Real
Every season, another team announces a stadium renovation. But right now? It feels like every team is in on it.
Clubs are being added, existing spaces are getting reinvented, and premium is the priority. All-inclusive food and drinks, a place to hang out beyond your seat, access to the best views in the stadium. That's the new norm at an NFL game, and plenty of fans are happy to spend a pretty penny on it.
There's still a lot of football left this season. Here are the renovated stadiums worth getting to before the season's through.
1. Baltimore Ravens: M&T Bank Stadium
The Ravens just wrapped a three-year, $489 million renovation of M&T Bank Stadium, and unveiled it in full this season. The goal was to turn the stadium that hosted 10 to 12 events a year into a year-round destination.
It rolled out in three phases, and every one of them is worth seeing:
- 2024: New field-level seats, The Blackwing suite, and the Miller Lite Gatehouse.
- 2025: Four new premium spaces: the Champions Club (a nod to the Super Bowl XLVII win), The Trust, The Raven, and the Legends Suites, which lead straight to the field with 16 seats each.
- 2026: The Bud Light Talon, one of the only open-air music stages inside the gates of an NFL stadium. Inside it sits Frank's RedHot Backstage, a new indoor sports bar with one of the biggest LED screens.
Up top, The Perch/Overlook expansion picked up 7,000+ square feet of new hospitality space with skyline views of the city. Adding more restrooms and thousands of square feet of new video boards - this is a completely different building than it was just three years ago.
2. Houston Texans: Reliant Stadium
The Texans are celebrating this season by going back to their roots with Reliant Stadium coming back after a stint as NRG Stadium for the past 12 seasons, and they marked it with a few brand-new premium spaces.
- BMW Lone Star Ballroom & BMW M Club Blue: Two ultra-premium clubs in a 6,000-square-foot space in the southeast tunnel, right where the visiting team takes the field. Everything is all-inclusive.
- H-Town Loge Boxes: Semi-private boxes on the Club Level with all-inclusive food and drinks. A great middle ground between a club seat and a full suite.
3. Pittsburgh Steelers: Acrisure Stadium
The Steelers have added the 1933 Club, named for the year the Steelers were founded. Think speakeasy vibes with modern finishes.
It's all-inclusive, with Pittsburgh-inspired food, a central bar where a mixologist makes cocktails to order, and a snack and candy wall for grabbing something without missing a play. The best part? Members get behind-the-scenes access to the Steelers' locker room entrance and player tunnel, plus easy access to the 100 level.
4. Cincinnati Bengals: Paycor Stadium
There’s no new clubs here, but every single suite at Paycor Stadium got a full makeover before the 2026 season. Expect upgraded finishes, more food and beverage counter space, new lounge and buffet setups, and a refreshed menu.
It's part of a bigger, phased renovation at Paycor that also modernized club levels, concessions, and restrooms. Phase 2 kicks off in 2027 with new seats and a new videoboard, so this is a great year to see the suites fresh.
The tailgate is moving indoors. Ford Field's new 1934 Club is a premium add-on, an extra ticket purchased on top of your seat. It gets you into the building three hours before kickoff with inclusive food and drinks.
Members also get 100 elevated seats next to a new game entertainment stage, where a DJ keeps the energy up before and during the game, plus access to the live pregame radio show.
This is a trend worth watching. Instead of fans spending the morning in a parking lot, venues are bringing the pregame inside and turning it into a premium experience. It's a smart way for teams to monetize those extra hours, and for fans it means climate control, real bathrooms, and great food before the first snap.
If this year's upgrades have you excited, the next few years are even bigger. Here's what we know so far:
- Las Vegas Raiders, Allegiant Stadium: Upgrades to this newly coined “iconic” stadium are in the works as soon as the 2026 season wraps up, with $75 million in upgrades to come.
- Carolina Panthers, Bank of America Stadium: Slated for 2027, they are expanding the West End and upgrading its club seats and suites, plus a new upper-level standing-room patio. The full $1.3 billion overhaul wraps by 2030.
- Tennessee Titans, New Nissan Stadium: 2026 is the last season at the current Nissan Stadium. Nissan 2.0 is an enclosed stadium next door and opens for business next year.
- Jacksonville Jaguars, EverBank Stadium: The $1.4 billion Stadium of the Future opens in 2028. The Jags play this season at reduced capacity and move to Orlando for 2027.
- Cleveland Browns, New Huntington Bank Field: A new enclosed stadium in Brook Park, projected for fall 2029.
- Washington Commanders: A new stadium on the old RFK site, targeted for 2030.
- Kansas City Chiefs: A new $3 billion enclosed stadium in Kansas, set for 2031, which makes these the final seasons at Arrowhead.
Teams are putting a huge emphasis on upgrading the gameday experience for fans, with the obvious emphasis on club spaces and suites.
